About Penni

Penni Justice is an Atlanta native and now lives in the north Georgia mountains with her husband in a certified wildlife sanctuary. That setting, along with the small tourist town, inspired her writing the cozy mystery book, “Blueprint for Murder.” While Penni earned a college degree years ago, in May 2023, she graduated with honors earning a B.A. in Creative Writing & English with a concentration in fiction writing from Southern New Hampshire University. This coursework included numerous fiction-writing workshops that allowed her to improve her writing skills. For the past 22 years, Penni has owned and operated a music entertainment agency specializing in public relations, writing, ghostwriting, marketing, and social media marketing. In addition to her fiction and business writing, Penni is authoring a historical fiction novel set during the 1940s in South Georgia and overseas during WWII. 

My parents always encouraged me to read. I fondly remember my mother taking me to the local libraries in Atlanta, Decatur, and Tucker, Georgia. I completely fell in love with books when I read "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott. My mother was also the church librarian with a nice variety of non-religious Y.A. fiction and mystery books.

I love to read and typically read about 60 fiction books yearly. My favorite book genres are cozy mysteries, historical fiction, and spy thrillers. My surroundings, memories of traveling around the country, and hearing true-life stories from family and friends inspire my writing. I genuinely love living in a mountain community surrounded by nature and wildlife. That setting inspired my upcoming cozy mystery novel, Blueprint for Murder. 

My husband and I are proud parents of three grown children and a wonderful son-in-law, who all inspire me. One is a graduate of Georgia State University, and three are University of Georgia graduates. They are funny, intelligent, and the absolute joys of my life!
